Outspokin' for Jesus at the 2007 MS-150!

Plenty of time to take our team photo in Irvine while waiting for the truck with our bikes to show up.

Carlos, is that a Qualcomm jersey you're trying to hide?

Our team from 2 years ago. Hmm there's 7 of them also...

Gloomy start line. Nobody making fun of Ron's strap on fender today!

Everything brightens up with friends!

Robert, ahead of me, again, and with a broken collarbone from 4 weeks ago.

Callsign "Mad Cyclist"

It was overcast all morning. I didn't put on my sunglasses until about 11:30.

One of many rest stops. AJ with too much caffeine??

So "Herculean" Luis did this on a brand new bike, as in he rode it 2 miles downhill from REI to his house 2 days before the ride.

They had ice cream treats here like last year. Uh, we didn't partake this time...

We almost expect Carlos to break a spoke (and he did).

This is one Dave broke - "Blue Bullet Jr."

Sun starting to poke out. It never got hot and the clouds really added to the scenery. The Century Challenge (it was) went through the Elfin Forest and by lake Hodges. I was either dying going up the hills or careening down them - so no photos. They would have looked like postcards anyway...

A bottle of bubbly,

by the hot tubbly!

...anybody seen Dave?

The obligatory photo of my bike. Goes to show you can ride a hilly 110 mile challenge with little to no prepartion, but there's a price to pay. I just hope my knee is rideable for our next regularly scheduled Saturday ride.

I think we need a new team captain!

Poor AJ!

much better after a free massage!

Robert got "nudged" by a bus just south of Camp Pendleton. He fell and landed on his right side. Good thing his collarbone was already broken...

C-ya next year?
